Quinnipiac Law Transfer Applicants

Transfer applications are considered from students who possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and who are in good standing in a JD program at an ABA-accredited law school after one full year of study. Admissions representatives will do all they can to make the process as straightforward as possible.
Credit Transfer Policy
  • The maximum number of credits a student can transfer from another law school is 30 credits.
  • Credits accepted from other law schools are transferred with the grade of "Pass."
  • No credits are transferred for grades below C (2.0).

Application Materials

Applications are accepted through the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) website.

  • A complete application, indicating you are applying for transfer admission
  • A letter of good academic standing from your law school including class rank
  • An official law school transcript recording all course work attempted
  • A current CAS report (through LSAC)
  • An application following the first-year process (through LSAC)

Students who are admitted to Quinnipiac are automatically considered for entry into the accelerated dual-degree program, and those who meet the qualifications will be invited into the program.
