First-Generation Student Scholarship

Scholarship | Various Amounts | Quinnipiac University

Quinnipiac Law is proud to celebrate the perseverance, determination and accomplishments of students who are the first in their families to earn a college degree. Through our First-Generation Student Scholarship, we recognize the unique challenges and triumphs that come with blazing a new academic trail.

Overview

This scholarship is available to first-generation college graduates entering the JD program. A first-generation college student is defined as a student whose parent(s) or legal guardian(s) have not completed a bachelor's degree at a four-year college or university. Applicants must indicate their first-generation college student status in both the law school application and the FAFSA.

Scholarship amounts vary based on individual qualifications and are applied toward tuition only. Awards are renewable each year, provided recipients remain in good academic standing.

How to Apply

Quinnipiac Law accepts applications up until August 1. We encourage applicants to apply by early March for priority consideration.
