Overview
Quinnipiac University School of Law provides scholarship funds to students who are committed to a career in public interest law. Applicants selected for these awards will be considered based on their commitment to public service, their demonstrated academic abilities, and their potential for leadership both here at the law school and in the outside community. Public service work will be defined broadly to include employment, advocacy, and/or volunteer activities, both in government and non-government arenas in topics including (but not limited to) civil rights, poverty, international human rights, environmental law, and health law. An applicant’s resume and/or personal statement should highlight these activities. Scholarships may be renewed annually if the recipient is in good academic standing.
