Full-Time JD Costs of Attendance and Budget 2026–27

1 These costs reflect 2026-27 charges. The full-time tuition cost is based on 12–15 credits per semester. Students who enroll for more than 15 credits per semester will be charged the flat rate plus $2,040 for each credit over 15 credits. Tuition and fees are subject to change.

2 Student fees cover the experiences and services that complement and support academics. This amount also includes a mandatory accident insurance fee.
3 Full-time students are billed each fall for the yearly student health insurance premium. This cost is not automatically included in the COA, as you may choose to waive it if you have other coverage. If requested, this cost may be added to your COA for additional loan consideration. Please note that all full-time students are required to carry insurance.

4 For students in their final year of study, the COA also includes the cost of professional licensure (the cost to register for the bar exam). This is based on the Connecticut bar exam. The amount included is $925. Students sitting for the bar in other jurisdictions with a higher cost can request an increase in writing.
