JD/MPP (Master of Public Policy) Curriculum

Our curriculum builds industry-specific knowledge and skills while giving you the flexibility to customize your schedule based on your needs. Below are the course requirements for the dual-degree JD/MPP program and an example of what your academic experience might look like.

Quinnipiac School of Law has partnered with Vermont Law & Graduate School to offer students the exciting opportunity to earn a Dual-Degree Juris Doctor/Master of Public Policy (JD/MPP). Students in the program earn their JD from Quinnipiac Law and their MPP from Vermont Law & Graduate School. The program can be completed in three academic years, the same amount of time typically needed to earn the JD degree alone.

This flexible program allows students to pursue their MPP coursework online or on campus during the summer. A number of Quinnipiac Law courses have been approved to satisfy the requirements of both programs. In addition, students will be allowed to transfer 6 credits of their Vermont Law & Graduate School MPP coursework toward their Quinnipiac JD graduation requirements.

The joint degree requires a 36-credit program comprised of Vermont Law & Graduate School MPP courses, required non-credit skills modules and up to 12 credits of Quinnipiac Law courses from the approved course list.
